     Our Bird Home Page is dedicated to providing information on many different types of birds and their care. We will be adding information sheets to the list below on a regular basis, so check back often. If you don't find the information on the bird that you are interested in, please Contact Us and we will gladly try to answer your questions. With over 60 years combined experience in breeding, showing, hand-raising and keeping birds, from hummingbirds to macaws, we have the knowledge and experience to answer most of your bird questions.

WHERE WE GET OUR BIRDS

     FFlocks deals only with local hobby breeders for all of its baby birds. We prefer to deal with the local hobbyist as they put a lot of time, care and devotion into their birds. By dealing with the local breeder we know the age of the birds, the health of the birds and that we are helping the breeders by giving them an outlet for their birds, without having to deal with the public themselves. The only drawback with the local breeders is that they breed birds for a hobby. They aren't breeding the birds for profit but for fun, therefore they breed when they want to. Which does mean that the supply can be a little erratic.

     FFlocks will also find a home for any bird that needs one. This includes all types of cage birds. It doesn't matter if it is a pet parrot that is in need of a new home or a special needs geriatric canary that needs to find a retirement home. We will take them in and we will find them a home. We won't refuse a (cage) bird in need of a new home.
