Parrot Mix

This mix is for most parrots including, African greys, Amazons, cockatoos, macaws, etc. The most common misconception with parrots is, if they like sunflower seed, why not give them a mix that has lots of sunflower in it. Unfortunately since sunflower seed is a fatty seed and all animals like "rich" foods (us too!), it quickly becomes a favorite, but like us fatty food isn't good for us in large quantities. Parrots require a variety of seeds, fruits, vegetables and nuts to stay healthy. Feathered Friends Parrot mix has been formulated with less than 7% sunflower by weight with the health of your parrot in mind.
